ROYAL NITRITE PROFESSIONAL TEST
Test Instructions - 1 step only
 
Keep out of reach of children.
Attention: Before any use of the vial test or measuring scoop, make sure it is washed with RO water only and dry it up with a soft paper.
 
Results of Royal nitrite professional test kit are in PPM.
Each kit will give you 100 tests.
 
1 step only:
 
  1. Using the 5 ml syringe, add 5 ml of aquarium water to the test vial.
  2. Add to the test vial – 2 drops of  NO2  reagent and swirl gently for 30 seconds.
  3. Allow it to stand for 5 minutes.
  4. Hold the test vial next to the supplied color chart on a part of the chart which is white and compare the colors looking from the side of the test vial. Read the corresponding nitrite content. An intermediate color corresponds to intermediate nitrite content.

ROYAL NITRITE PROFESSIONAL TEST

  • The Nitrite ion NO2 is created from Ammonia in a process known as nitrification or Nitrogen cycle where bacteria convert Ammonia to Nitrite and then to Nitrate by oxidizing it. This process can take 3-4 weeks.

    In sea water the NO2 levels shouldn’t be detectable by this test. Levels of more than 0.05 PPM are dangerous and not acceptable.

    The test can be determine with a finely tuned color chart which includes a concentration range from 0.1-5 mg/l
